Mumford and Sons

I'm honestly surprised there's no Mumford and Sons thread; it's kind of a shame. Now, I'm taking it upon myself to create a thread where people can discuss anything from Mumford and Sons. Also, I'm finally listening to Babel for the first time. I fuckin' love this album. Anyways, here's some music for you people.

Babel wise these are my favorites (Spoiler). I feel like they put more emotion into their music this time around, not just a jolly go around, but maybe that's just because I'm an emotional poon. His husky voice is great and the folk style is different from the usual acoustic-like stuff. "I will Wait" has been on repeat for me but "Hopeless Wanderer" was it in for me, especially after the build up.
And from Sign No More the title track and "Dust Bowl Dance", I love that one.

The title track was a stand-out on Sigh No More, and it's one of my favorites from them. Babel and I Will Wait (I haven't listened to it a lot) from the new album are already hooking me in.

Well SNM was the first song on the CD so it set the mood for the album, brilliantly done. I had high expectations for Babel and Mumford delivered, I can't pin point it but something sounds different, I probably just need to listen to it more but as you said it's hooking.
"Reminder" is well too, a change from the Husk and more into a deep tone. Like a mini ballad.

I think Ting was the one to introduce me to this band. I haven't had the time to sit down and listen to the newest album fully yet, but will soon. I think the songs that stood out the most from the previous album for me was The Cave and Little Lion Man.

After listening to the album a few times, Sigh No More and Winter Winds just grew on me and stood out. Anyways, the new album is surprisingly great, in my opinion.

First album wasn't bad, the new album bored me, probably won't be going back to it.Mumford and Sons isn't everyone's cup of tea, but what band is?
Anyways, another standout on the new album, to me, is Lover of the Light. I'm just amazed with it.

Little Lion man is nice to stumble into after a while of not hearing it while your playlist is on shuffle on a windy day...definition of luck my friends.

To me, that's more of a pleasant surprise or enjoyment. But that is a very well done song. They managed to effectively show the emotion while making it pleasant to listen to.
