I'll save some time and assume that most of, if not all of us, are familiar with the sometimes poignant, sometimes satiric, and always funny Weird Al Yankovic, and I'll also assume that most of us are familiar with Lady Gaga.
I'll cut to the point, once again to save time, I'm a busy college student you know.
In a weird series of events, Gaga refused to let Weird Al use her song, "Born This Way" in a parody.
"I wrote and recorded what I thought was going to be the first single off of my new album: a parody of “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga called “Perform This Way.” But after hearing it, Lady Gaga decided not to give me permission to release the song, so… it won’t be coming out commercially anytime in the near future. Sorry."

Eh, she probably just took it too seriously and was offended. He's been told not to do songs before, and he generally just doesn't put them on an album, but still plays them live.
