Power

Do you think that you can be powerful if you don't have complete free will? I mean like being able to control millions of people as long as you are controlled yourself? is that power? Or is it lack of power? What would you think if you were in that situation?

Being controled or told what to do can have it's own sort of freedom. just look at republicans and the super religious.
i once had a conversation with a looney on the shame train about control. he said many people are so wrapped up in tryiong to control others that they end up miserable. they end up being controled by their own control issues. i think it was that day that i stopped giving a shit about other people's little power trips. let them have their tiny bit of meaningless control. maybe that's all they have in their pathetic little lives. he made a lot of sense for some random whacko on the bus(probably helped that i was high at the time).
then again, one of the greatest feelings i know is makeing people do what you want with out them knowing what they're doing. with careful wording and subtle suggestion, they can even think the whole thing was their idea.
