I've been wanting to export some audio from youtube and have been using video2mp3 but it's getting really sloppy lately so I'm wondering if you have one to suggest. I know there's a chrome extension for this but I think it only gets the .flv I want mp3's :D

Well, maybe you can try keepvid.com. They have a new feature where you can directly download youtube's video as mp3.
Pretty useful, I must say. The quality isn't half bad either

You would use a video converter like mediacoder or oxelon to convert the flv rip into acc or mp3 or use a flv ripper like flv extract also the video too.

Instead of relying on worthless internet sites for this, get a decent third/party recording program, (Such as Audacity or something similar) and rip the audio with the "What you hear" function.
Better results, higher quality (If the vid allows it and you choose to record it in high quality) and no need to convert and lower the quality even more.

DVDvideosoft free studio... I dont know where I got it from but it works just fine, but honestly just download the album or discography per torrent (you dont have to deal with quality and shit).
