Quick question about the word Weeaboo.

I'm currently writing a paper on degrading terms used over the internet, and of course I feel the need to toss in at least a mention about the word "Weeaboo".
Frankly what I want to know is if someone know at what time 4Chan implemented that wordfilter that changed "Wapanese" to "Weeaboo" that resulted in the ridiculous spread of the word. I've tracked it down to sometime mid 2005, but have been unable to find a more specific time, and I figured that there should be at least one 4chan oldfag here that remembers when the wordfilter went active.
I do realise that this is not really the place to ask something like this, since I doubt a hentai-forum will pass as a viable source, but I'm stumped for other options.
This might also fit better in the Request forum or even IB, but I hoped posting here would at least get me some response. (Since IB is IB, and requests are well... you know.)

Yes, I know of the origin, although the date for that comic remains unknown (I mailed the author about it, but have yet to receive an answer.)

I did. It's actually quite wrong saying I didn't get any serious answers, but I didn't get any adequate answers. Most of them consisted in "What? There was a wordfilter?", "Sometime back in 2005-6" and "Who the fuck gives a crap?"
I just now figured I'd send an email to the admins about it, instead of posting on the board itself. I'll just hope that they'll take time to read it among with all the other mails I'll assume they get on a daily basis.
