Ratchet and Clank Movie

I didnt believe it at first when I was told, but Ratchet and Clank is getting a movie that is set to air in 2015

There is a lot of source material they could use for a movie, and it could end up being good if its in the right hands.

Im iffy on this... but Im going to try and stay hopefull, I loved the gamss beyond words

Never played the games so I don't know how to feel about this. Seems like something Disney would pick up.

From what I say in the trailer it looks pretty reasonable. It will still look kind of weird if a bunch of 20 year old gamers going to see this movie.

The last 3 games on PS3 actually looked like Pixar animated them, but I dont think that Disney would pick up something like this.

I didn't know about this until my older sister (Who isn't really into video games.) shared a link of the teaser on my wall. Turns out she really liked the first one but never finished due to her moving and no longer having the console or game. Good thing I have an old PS2 and a copy of the original.....

As for movie expectations: I've set mine pretty low. I don't want to go in with high hopes and be disappointed.

I'm a little iffy on movies based on video games considering the horrible track record of video games translating into movies.

Maybe if it's like animated by Studio Ghilbi or Pixar or something.

Ratchet and Clank looks like it could be a successfully mediocre movie. I know it's not going to be shutting down any theaters and I'm kind of wondering who is actually going to find time in their day to go watch this. It is a popular franchise though so I suppose some folks will get up and go watch it.

On another note Heavenly Sword is getting a direct to disc release movie also. I'm hoping it's in the anime style and excludes any romance.
