Antivir Solution Pro, Antivirus Soft and AV Security Suite
This will be my second time coming in contact with this virus/trojan and (so far)
it has been on two Windows XP systems in witch the users/owners only use Internet Explorer's web browser. I searched google for an answer on both occasions and with nothing helping I don't wanna go to my first option of just backing it all data and reinstalling the OS (I did with the first one).
So anyway to the point of this topic's question is how can i successfully remove this virus/trojan without reinstalling the OS?
For my second question: I have an DELL inspiron 1721(has a 9 cell battery and i am using a 6 cell charger so when its unplugged it runs 2.3 GHz and when its plugged in 798 MHz cause of the battery) and it can't handle W7 smoothly. I run XP Pro on it and to install the HDD driver i use nlite and was wondering if it would be possible to install all the drivers through a process the same as with the HDD driver?

Firstly, the most likely reason you got the trojans in the first place is because Internet Explorer has more holes than a butterfly net. There is no real way to rid your machine of all the trojans and bugs that accumulated while you use IE without a clean reinstall.
And nLite only supports extractable drivers. If all your hardware uses those, then they can be installed. If you were using Windows 7, drivers wouldn't be such a problem...time to upgrade your comp.

Thats what I keep trying to explain to them and to just use Firefox instead. I think from now on if the problem comes from internet explorer I'll just hide IE from them ^_^ and hopefully that will get them out of the habit of using it, but the first one was running norton on it but i guess it still got through.

i had this a while back, goggle worked for me. what i had to do was install malwarebytses and run it in safe mode from a diffrent account on the computer. for some reason it only incapacited my main account and not my guest one
