Requesting book tips from the (Fakkuan?) history buffs!

Greetings!
I'm very unfortunate when it comes to finding books about history, the ones other people recommend are far better then the ones I find myself. And that's why I'm making this topic. Anyway, as weird as it is asking about history in a Hentai forum, I dont doubt that this large community has a fair amount of people with similiar interests, but with more knowledge then me, heh.
On topic then. I'm interested in mainly The Hellenistic Period, The Peleponnesian War and basicly anything before 200 BC. As you can see, i'm mostly interested in Ancient and Classical Greece. Any recommendations are warmly welcomed.
I wasn't entirerly sure on what section of the Forums I should have posted this on, so I chose random. I'd appreciate if anybody could comment on that.

However, I happen to have bought this beauty about 2 years ago and it has served me well. I see a used one on there for just £18.50, a steal.

I'm more of a postclassical/medieval fan here, but it's always cool to meet another history lover!
The only book I own that covers that period is "The Ancient World: A Social and Cultural History" by D. Brendan Nagle. I really liked Nagle's view on much of the details of Rome c. 300BCE-200CE, but don't remember too much about his Hellenestic/Classical views, except his fascinating coverage of religious evolution/syncretism in the wake of Alexander's conquests.
...but, if you are interested in any Byzantine history, Warren Treadgold's A Concise History of Byzantium was light and super fun, for fans of both narrative and social history.
P.S.- You may wanna consider a more formal into in the meet and greet subforum. We already know one of your interests (well, 2 including hentai)
