pretty much the only thing i actually cook is sauce, but its pretty good
for pasta:
(single serving)
1 small can tomato sauce
Italian seasoning
garlic powder
thyme
put the tomato sauce in a small pan, add in around a tablespoon (more or less to taste) of each seasoning (i usually do more garlic powder than anything else) heat until bubbling, then put on pasta, also works for pizza sauce. you can also add salt and black pepper depending on the brand of tomato sauce...
for spicy dishes:
garlic powder
chili powder
cayenne pepper
cumin
heat up sauce, add ingredients (go easy on the cayenne) put on casadillas, eat with nachos.
for beans:
drain all the clear liquid (water?) from a can of beans, put the beans in a pan, add a can of tomato sauce, and spices for spicy recipe, mix and heat until done, if you want you can add sugar to make it more like BBQ sauce...
these recipes are simple and flexible and are an easy cheap way to add some flavor to your favorite foods

I really love spicy food and that spicy sauce with nachos sounds delicious I must try :S.
One of the sauces I've made is with.
cut and crush Thai peppers in salt.
squeeze a wedge of lime if needed.
Eat mostly with mangoes (the green/reddish ones, I forget what they're called they're not orange, mushy, and sticky)

Okay so for yesterday when we made the sturgeon I (and only I) decided to try my hands at just making up a quick Aioli (Garlic Mayo) to go on top of the fish. So here is the recipe and believe me it's pretty fucking amazing.
Things You'll Need
4-5 egg yolks (no whites)
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
2 cups vegetable oil
1tsp ground mustard
1tsp cayenne
3 cloves garlic
1/4 red bell pepper (seeded and diced)
lime for just a few drops of juice
Salt to taste
and a food processor
1) saute your garlic and diced red bell pepper till you can smell the garlic but make sure they don't get brown or discolor, really you just want it to be aromatic. Set aside after done.
2) In the food processor you want to add the egg yolk and vinegar along with cayenne and mustard and turn it on keeping it running.
3) You want to slowly add the fat (vegetable oil) at a slow rate of basically drops at a time until it thickens to about the consistency of mayonnaise (which is what this is)
4) keep it blending add the garlic and red peppers and keep mixing till you've got a nice redish color to your aioli. Keep blending add salt till you find it appealing and just a few drops of lime juice.
Serve on sandwhiches if wanted or put it on some fish. It's great for dipping as will.
