Serious Help needed to burn PSX

Alright, I have read several forums before coming here and most of them are kinda vague over the actual steps needed to burn a PS1 game on to a CDR.

Okay so I got two files currently which is a .CUE and a .IMG file in the same folder. So what do I need to burn the game?
And How do I do it?

I tend use the .img file when I used to burn PS1 games. Also, you should always burn at the slowest speed for PS1 games to minimize errors. If you need a program then try using ImgBurn.

-If you're using Nero (7 and under) you need to burn Iso file

okay so just to confirm, I'm using ImgBurn. I choose the first option, but the part I'm unsure about is which file to browse for before burning. Img or Cue?

Okay bro, it didn't work. I stuffed the data into a CD-R, used turned on imgburn and followed the instructions on this video



I tried playing it on my modded PS2, didn't work. Anything I did wrong?

1. Are you using Swap Magic?

2. PS2 or PS2 Slim?

3. Who modded your PS2 and could you give me any information on what he/she/you did?

There are plenty of other tutorials on youtube which are, you know, longer than 30 seconds.

Oh, look, I found a tutorial already with 80k views in 15 seconds because I searched the internet (I'm amazing, I know).

1. I don't know if I am using Magic Swap but I have burnt a PS2 Dragon Ball Z Meteor and it worked on my PS2.

2. Its a Normal PS2

3. I didn't mod the PS2 since this PS2 was a friend's who didn't want it anymore. But I have played a library of games that were burnt.

But I'm gonna try a different rom, question is the specific options I need to make to make this work like Verify or Speed or anything else

EDIT: Oh and I can burn PS2 just fine only PSX
