Now, being the SH fan that I am, I was really happy when I found out that there would be a sequel. It seems like the sequel will be based on the 3rd game of the Silent Hill video game franchise. Sadly, the director is still keeping a tight lid on who's going to be the actors for this movie. All I hope is that they bring back Sean Ben from the first one.
Will update when I find more info (and hopefully a legit trailer).

I won't expect this to be good, but I will still watch it nonetheless.
Though I don't know how they would make it connected to the first one.

Gonna keep an open mind till I see the trailer and who's in the movie. If the trailer/actor(s) suck, then I'll skip this. I read in the IMDB forums that filming is apparently taking place right now and perhaps soon there'll be an official list of the actors enlisted.

Since Sean Bean is confirmed to be back I'll give it a shot. After all, one does not simply walk into Silent Hill. However, I'm going to be very angry if they bring Pyramid Head back. Yes, he's a fucking badass, but he was formed by James' subconscious. Anyways, not going to go into a rant here but I'll give it a shot. Hell, it's probably going to be better than most other shit that's being released these days.

Malcom Mcdowell will play Leonard, and Carrie-anne Moss will be Claudia. 2 interesting names, especially Malcom. I have no doubt he'll be good for Leonard's part. Not so sure about Carrie-anne though...
There's also this Kit Harrington guy who'll play Vincent... no clue who that guy is (looking at his past movies doesn't help since he's only been on a tv series)

You know, I didn't think the first film was that bad. This should be better than most cookie cutter horror, at any rate.
