So, I had a dream last night.

So, this is a recounting of my dream from last night, please don't make fun and please consider any dreams you might have had that are worth mentioning as this may be "the coup de grace" of dreams right here.
I'm going to tell it as best I can remember/recount it in dream time.
I dreamt that my girl friend had lost touch with reality. She was not herself in the slightest and I needed to get away. This is where things got strange, I made a great leap forward and some how impregnated my brother and was now nine months deep. He was n the verge of bursting and I took it upon myself to deliver his baby.
I killed him while performing a c-section and had to watch as he was revived by some real doctors who arrived with a crash cart as I tried to staple up his abdomen.
When I asked them if the baby was okay they said yes as I woke up.
WTF

Okay, Freud, dreams are not nearly as symbolically significant as you may think. They're a biological function meant to keep you from going brain-dead in your sleep.
Also, I fail to see how this qualifies as serious discussion, perhaps it'd be more appropriate in the incoherent babbling section.

I read somewhere that dreams can reflect things that are happening in your life. think about stuff you may be stressing on. or maybe something in the past involving the people in your dream.
i never remember any of my dreams. some times a general idea or feeling, but not details. i do have a recurring thing where my legs get so tired i can't walk anymore. i always wake up right after that.
this doesn't belong in IB. depending on the direction the thread takes, maybe random.

That sounds like "Astral travel". Where your soul or whatever goes off and does it's own thing till you wake up. it sometimes results in de-ja-vu.
As for the OP, Do you have a grudge against your brother at all for any reason? anything to do with pregnancy or a child in any way? had a fight with him?
Could even be what you desire in the back of your subconsciousness.

Or at the very least, that is only a half-assed theory that no one has proven.
Point being, no one has proven what dreaming is, and what the purpose is for.
Honestly, I wouldn't know what to make of it. I'm not really in a "camp" as to what I think dreams are. There are times I think of dreams as nothing more than a collection of images that do not necessarily have any coherent structure. While other times I feel like dreams are specifically coherent to my last thoughts before I fell asleep; sometimes I swear what I dream sometimes (eerily so) becomes reality.

Spoiler:
This is speculation so I'm not necissarily correct. My guess is that because in your dream your girlfriend became distant/ lost touch with reality, you went to your brother for comfort. Why the "dream you" did not try to comfort your "Dream girlfriend", is up for speculation. Perhaps Dream you felt he could not help her, or maybe felt that he would worsen the situation. But because he had no one to turn to, he went to someone close for comfort. Why its your brother.... I have no Idea (You'd think it'd be your mom right?). In any case, it would appear that Dream you need more than moral support, as seen in that you well, got your brother pregnant.
The point where your brother seems to burst, or will die from the baby may be your concious mind appearing in the dream and trying to rectify this scenario, as I'm sure Impregnating your brother is a big WTF NO. So perhaps, rationality at that point is kicking in. But of coarse dream you is a differnt entity with his own wishes, so he attemps to thwart conscious you by performing the c-section. But of course, conscious you is the promenant/ superior entity and Dream you is just a manifestation. So your brother ends up dying. Dream you will not allow this to end that way, so you then dream of doctors saving him. It's at this point conscious you has had enough of this farce and decides to terminate everything by waking you up.
Well, thats my er... theory anyways.

That sounds like "Astral travel". Where your soul or whatever goes off and does it's own thing till you wake up. it sometimes results in de-ja-vu.
Hmm.... I usually can't remember any of my dreams as well, maybe for a few minutes after waking up, and then I lose my memory of them, lol, it just happens I guess.
As for the astral travel, sounds interesting, I had dejavus many times in my life as well.

yeah, it's real creepy, when you go to a town/city you've never been before, and turn a corner and suddenly recognize something from the back of you head, it's like "HOLY SHIT I KNOW THIS PLACE, [size=10]although i've never been here in my life[/h]"
You'll know if you've experienced Astral travel when you wake up, you'll feel like you've gotten no sleep at all and you'll feel exhausted.

Yep, funny thing is that stuffs like this happened with animes and even some fakku posts.
Hmm... I don't remember if anything like that happened with me or not, since I'm very forgetful. v_v

Too fucking many to count. The latest one is just yesterday. I was in my classroom ready to do some exam then my mind flashed back. It was exactly how i saw it when i dreamed it when like a year or two ago. I even had flashes of what might happened after this exam. But the resemblances stopped at that classroom.

i've tried to use the leg thing as a que for lucid dreaming, but as soon as i realize i'm asleep, i wake up.
