Study Time?

How much studying do you do for tests?
Do you make it a priority to study?
Are you able to cram hours before the test and thrive on only a few hours of sleep?
Hey, I'm just curious about how many people are able to cram and Ace tests. I just can't get my self to study weeks before the test, because i am easily distracted. I typically do this for tests, term papers and projects and end up squeezing by with an A. My family and friends often tell me that it will come back and bite my in the ass, but that has yet to happen. Are any of you in the same boat.

i'm sure there's already a thread about this before.. But i can't tell which one, since the forum search is dead!
But getting back on topic:
i do study a week or two before the test, but mostly i put more effort on 2-3 days before D-day and rest on a day before that..

I have never once crammed for test. if i was in the class, and did the assigned work, i should know the material well enough to pass a test on it.

I always found it a pain in the ass mainly because I had to decide which test deserved more study time. Math is usually the biggest pain, thus the one I study for...but that in turn leads to me falling short in another subject....needless to say, I've had my share of sleepless nights.
But hell, 3 A's and a C this semester, hell lot better than nothing (granted I'm still pissed about that C.....Precalculus can suck it)

Studying is certainly a top priority for me. I study 3 to 5 hours every night during school days. I love being prepared for surprise quizzes and such and I have never once crammed for a test as well. >///<

Well it depends on the subject for me.
I like to study a few days in advance and even go over some of the material with the professor, get a study group going, ask questions etc.

It depends on my mood. I usually study a day before the test and allocate some extra time usually 5-10 hrs. during the day of examination. I had experienced cramming before and it really screwed me up big time that's why I'm trying to change that bad habit of mine. Hopefully, I'm not having problems in any of my subjects except for math though.

I like to do my revision 1-2 days before the exams cause I always feel that if I do them like a month before I tend to go off course and be distracted so I end up not doing any proper revision but doing it 1-2 days before the exam gives me a feeling of panic and therefore makes me concentrate more.

I try to spend at least an hour a day studying. but it I procrastinate a lot so I some times do get to it.

Most of the time when I try to study I get board because somehow I already magically know all the content (I suppose it was worth going to all the classes). But I still try to study for 2 days before the test. That is if there is nothing better to do.

Luckily, I test very well, and I never study for anything (except maybe spanish, since I was taking japanese until I moved, and was forced to take a high level spanish class in high school, and have been struggling with it ever since.) But I still get good grades, especially in math, where my most recent semester gave me a class/homework grade of 80%, but I got 100 on every test except one.

I'm good when i do revise, but i'm too lazy
but i do a least try to give it ago. I got top grade in maths when i busted my balls in revision

Thankfully I have a good short-term memory, so everything I study in the weeks prior to the test usually sticks, and I only have to read over the notes, a bit.
