Tabbouleh

So, in honor of getting my own apartment, I invited my parents over and made a dish that I really enjoy, obviously that's tabbouleh.
Neither of them ate it. They both said that it was good, but they just weren't hungry.
Now, I usually wouldn't be too offended, but it was the first meal in my own place.
Anyway, have any of you had an experience like this?

Kind of. I made a S'mores pie a while back and put a lot of effort into organising and cooking it while I was back at my parent's house, which was a completely different kitchen then what I was used to. My family kinda ignored it.
But generally its the other way round. My housemates steal my cakes that I make, so that within a day of me making it, its already gone... Which I wouldnt mind, but they barely ever thank me, so ive started chraged money for each slice of cake they steal >:3
That sounded slightly pathetic, but congrats on your new apartment. Also what is tabbouleh?

Unless you are a bad cook, I would have to agree with Don. Unless they genuinely weren't hungry then, fair play.
