Tattoos?

Do you find tattoos appealing or unappealing in the opposite sex and why? I've had guys tell me constantly that tattoos on girls is unattractive.

I myself only have 1 tattoo that's placed on my right shoulder blade but some people find it unattractive. Furthermore I have female friends who find men with tattoos unattractive.

Personally to me I think if you have a LOT of tattoos, or if they're placed in the wrong spots (your neck, your knuckles) it can be intimidating. But I'd rather be open-minded to the person in general without judging them based off their ink.

And in my biased opinion I think ink on both men and women can be sexy as hell ;)

I love a good tattoo (and by good, I mean one that has meaning, in a good position, and well drawn) on people, guy or girl. However, as you said, too much can be off-putting.

I like tattoos but no tramp stamps. I prefer one with meaning and placed within a decent region. Also i may get a tattoo one day(if i find it worth symbolizing something).

Tattoos are works of art painted on a human canvas. Like all works several are open to interpretation, scrutiny, and misconstrusion. Also like many works the best are rare gems hidden amongst a multitude of subpar work. It takes a master artist to make a masterpiece and mastering the human canvas is amongst the most difficult. One day I hope the adequate pieces I have can share the same canvas as a true masterpiece.

I love tats and pirecings, but not too many. You should have skins.

I don't mind little small tattoos but I do hate tattoos that cover a guys entire arm or back.

The more ink = the more attraction I have to them. That goes with different hair color and some piercings as well.

As long as they don't look tacky, I don't care.
I personally want to get fairly covered but I just never realy have the money to do it.

Its their body and its not really harming them or anything.

I personally don't mind tattoos but I prefer none. However for a tattoo to be attractive on a person must be well made in the best location and have a deep meaning.

I like tats and piercings. I find them attractive on women. I've never gotten either of them myself though. so lame of me.

Too many tatoos and it becomes unattractive, however just a small one here and there in good taste shouldn't really affect anything.

I don't mind if a women has a tattoo. To many, it's an art form, and I can respect that. However, if you're decked out in more tattoos then an inmate with a life sentence, then that's where I have to draw the line. Though, if that's your preference, more power to you. It just ain't mine.

I don't mind tattoos, my GF have several and I've be thinking of getting at least one myself. I don't really have a preference though, good ink will look good, bad ink will look bad.

Also, for you faggots: NO! Tattoos do NOT need "meaning". That's some pretentious bullshit spawned by watching too many tacky TV-shows. If you think it looks good, then there's nothing more to it.

I am open minded and I will make my evul open minded judgement upon such tattoos when I see them. =P

Small ones I find alright, not too many though.
Ones that cover nearly half the body though... Forget it. Not my thing.
I just like the look of natural skin I guess.

I love tattoos, but I don't like low quality. I find inked skin, wild hair colors, piercings attractive but I am also bias since I have all that >.> Its another forum of art and when people love the art so much as to have it on them that is great. I do not like seeing all these young kids getting tattoos just because they think it's cool but that is their problem.

Classy pieces of art are sexy. Cheap drunken mistakes in poorly picked places are a turn off.
