The best Animated Cartoon Creators/Directors/etc.

Who do you think the best Animated Creators and Directors are for Western Cartoons? The reason being Anime probably needs it's own separate topic on a site like this, while Animation from the West seems like it would be less

I think Butch Hartman is one of the best Creators (Fairly Odd Parents, T.U.F.F. Puppy, etc.) and a.k.a. Entertainment (Ed Edd and Eddy) are both really good.

Chuck Jones. He created Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner. 'Nuff said.

Other than that, I've been a big fan of Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack). I keep hoping for a Samurai Jack movie and a Korgoth of Barbaria series...

Tex Avery. I would dig up his corpse and make sweet sweet passionate love to it.

In case you don't know, he created pretty much all the Looney Toons.

Klasky Csupo, can't be arsed to google for correct spelling. But they made some awesome stuff in the 90s, Rugrats and good episodes of The Simpsons to name but two. Don't try and tell me that Rugrats wasn't a good show.

Batman The Animated Series Season 1-2. Most epic cartoon series ever. Great story and characters, ntm a GOOD batman that's not always angry. This one will always be my fav. Batman series and Batman.

Brad Bird, for directing both Pixar animated films, "The Incredibles" and "Ratatouille".

Also, he was pretty badass for doing the voiceover of Edna Mode in 'The Incredibles'.

Steven Spielberg for Freakazoid, Animaniacs, and Pink and the Brain. The three best shows to ever grace the WB saturday morning lineup.
