The Meme-B-Gone Button

Memes are funny, but no matter how good a meme is eventually the Internet takes the meme and drives into the ground through overuse. I'm certain deep down everyone who spends time on the Internet has a meme in mind that they for whatever reason can't stand. Perhaps you thought it was funny at first or you didn't care right from the beginning. The point is you are sick of seeing it and/or hearing it.
I have a button that when pressed erases the meme from existence. The meme will never be seen or heard from again. No more posters, T-shirts, jewelry, underwear, etc. People will only look at it as a bad memory that historians will not bother writing about and the meme will disappear forever. Why? Simply put, whether the meme was funny or brilliant you feel that meme has been abused to death to the point it's best to put the meme out of it's misery. Or maybe you just hate it.
Mine: YOLO. Words fail to describe the sheer lack of anything YOLO brings to the world. The meme lacks any sign of humor, wit, irony, insight, or sheer enjoyable stupidity. YOLO is the Jackass show and movies without the charm. YOLO has nothing interesting to say and it never will yet people still keep saying it. Every meme has a purpose, but YOLO seems it's content with directionless mediocrity that has long worn out its existence in human culture. *presses button*

The entire modern (est. 2004ish) use of the word "epic".
It has been so far removed from its original 4chan-slang context now, that it is no longer even used in the correct manner.
Children's television, advertisements, and even toddlers say it.
That is when you know a meme has been beaten like a dead horse in hopes to make it fly like a fucking Pegasus.

Memes are funnyThats where you are wrong.
Point taken. I should have been more specific I will argue that under the right circumstances a meme can generate actual humor. Though it rarely happens.

My take on memes: They can be funny sometimes, and every now and then I'll use one... But I'd rather come up with my own "memes"
And I will the "sick of seeing it" thing.

Some image macros can be funny if used correctly.
But there's stupid shit like "true story" or "women logic"
when stuff like that becomes popular, then it attracts imitators who don't know what the fuck they are doing.

Anything does that. And yes, epic became mainstream, and it was killed for me the day I saw it on a kids tv show
I'm starting to think meme's should be ditched in general... All the faggots around are thinking they are the funniest shit ever, and are making completely unfunny jokes.
I'm still happy some of the old ones are safe from their faggotry. Made my work name badge 'Richard C Monglor II' None of the faggots get it, which is great :D
