I’m gonna say it…
I don’t like the new foursome and threesome tags, they have too many abbreviated letters
I am going to go even further by saying that the †˜group’ tag exists which makes the new tags pointless. Specifying the gender of the groups is waay too niche and can easily be fixed by mentioning the majority like: †˜female-majority group’, †˜male-majority group’, and/or †˜equal gendered group’

I wouldn't say they are pointless due to the group tag, but more so compliment it. Users have frequently requested these variations, which is the main reason they were added. The terminology is very common and we decided to make it "FFM Threesome" instead of simply "FFM" to avoid confusion over the meaning of the abbreviations. And while I can see your proposed solution work just fine, I've never seen that suggested before, so we went with the tried and tested terms the majority of users are most likely to search for.
