Steam Elemental for my Digital Art class from a couple semesters back


And a metal one. Too flat in areas for my liking, but damn it all.


A vine...thing? I had just done a lot of dirty (read: stray lines) sketches my friends seemed to love, and wanted to do something a little cleaner. The top of the...duck?...bill was actually originally a large petal from a blossom that was going to protrude from the stomach, but...I mean, clearly it isn't anymore.


I did my entry for the Momoka fanart contest right before this one, so I wanted to try something a little less feminine and more...rebellious looking, I guess. Robot tentacles are a part of that for me.


My first try coloring something without lineart. I let it die for a while because I couldn't figure out noses for the life of me, but brought it back a few months later. Still looks off.


Character sketch of Kekka, an 8 year old girl whose dad is a Cthulhu ripoff and whose mom is a giant robot that was originally designed to kill him. It was for an animation I did for another class.


I realize I don't give a lot of my drawings pupils. Go figure.

I typically don't like double posting, but I also know that the second page is essentially a death sentence.

I'll usually just update the first post unless this thread starts to fall behind. Of course, if this is frowned upon I can stop, no big deal.

Double posting is fine to bump your thread in the Art section. It's better than the alternative of people making a new thread every time they draw or paint something.

Nice work. I'm guessing you're into horror-ish stuff with the tendency not to draw pupils?

You know, actually I'm not. I can totally see where that comes from though. Never really been big into horror.

Now that I think about it, I can't really think of why I draw a lot of things without pupils. I guess I drew one with some idea in mind, then kept doing it without realizing how often I thought of that same idea.

I was going to do something with this, but then I realized what I was drawing.

I've been attempting to come up with my own style over the years, but never really committed to trying anything out. With my college career coming closer to an end and the real world looming ahead of me, I figure I need to move further away from anime. No money in it, for me at least. Not with what I want to do.

So I did a sketchy sketch. Took me 3 naps to do this. It's hot here.
