TT Hongli is NOT Bandai and Bandai = Gundam!!
0
Today I had a random conversation with my roommate, and thanks to him I didn't get any study done tonight and I have a test tomorrow. Anyway, I didn't know he liked Gundam 00 as well, and it seems that he may be interested in buying a Flag kit. So I look on youtube and found some reviews...
Okay! Long story short~ I found several people reviewed Gundam products made by TT Hongli. At first I'm like wth is TT Hongli? Then I found out it's a pirating company from China, AND I still can't believe my fkin eyes that THERE ARE PEOPLE who would try to steal Bandai's copy right!!

(Notice the extra Chinese words at the top and the obvious missing Bandai sign)
Needless to say, I was pissed! I know it's our right to buy whatever is out there, because we're innocent. But! but! that doesn't mean we are ignorant! Anyway, I think TT Hongli deserves to be crushed, by us customers by not buying their products or by that 1:1 Gundam standing in Tokyo either way.
What do you guys think?

What?! so you would have no problem buying bootleg Gundam at all?! Especially, I think the bootleg 1:1 Gundam made by China is going to suck compare to the original Bandai if they ever do make one. My intention here was not to hate any country, but just the company that does it though. Then again, there's really nothing we can do about it. So Bandai all the way!

The people somewhat but more so the government and how it has influenced the people.

Lol. You're kidding right? You're pissed off that people from China stole Gundam kits? This is a country where you can find bootleg (ie, fake) iPads. There are a lot of things that come out of China. Including fake figures. Just so you know, all the figure's I currently own all come from China, even the authentic ones. Many companies based are based in China because of their powerful industry.
The computer you're using? The parts that make it up are most likely made in China. The clothes? China. Chairs, tables, cameras, and so much more are all made in China. Why do you think it's so easy for them to create bootlegs? All it takes is for one person to sneak it out of the factory, and then sell it. Then someone from somewhere will copy with and mass produce with inferior material. That's why you can see that some counterfeit figures are so well made, and can come before it's actual release date. They have the damn thing right in front of the them to copy.

China and corn are the same.
As in they are everywhere if you think they're not, just find a reliable source and buy then, move on.

Honestly I don't care much about this, if they wants to buy it its not my problem. However looking at a positive point of view, they would make a good fodder if you are starting to learn on painting your plamo and don't want to make mistakes when you start to paint your Gunpla since they are cheaper than the original. However if you bought TT Hongli brand at the same price as the original Bandai kit then you're screwed.
I really don't support buying bootlegs/knock-offs products. It kinda annoys me that the quality is as nearly as good as the original that you can use it in official diorama competition which is pretty cheap. Other reason that I'm not pleased about these is if people keep buying these kind of bootleg products it will affect Bandai Gunpla sales and might results in more price increases and less releases of new MS plamo especially MG plamo.
LW Dragon and Bendi are other fake brands to be aware of. Those two have godawful quality.

I hate bootleg kits. And sometimes I get annoyed one would go and buy them just because they're poor and can't afford the real deal. Seriously, it's called saving your money. A bootleg kit or whatever is shit no matter how cheap it is.

And another thing I wanted to point out is that the bootleg company doesn't even bother trying to hide their identity. The TT Hongli brand has Chinese words all over the box and inside in the booklet as well. It's as if they're saying " Hey, yes, we are not Bandai, and we stole their rights and technology, but we've proved that our products are better than Bandai's because we sell them at a cheaper price. So it's ok to buy from us. So, you want it or not?" How dare they're trying to defy the law in customers' faces. Screw that!
p.s. Personally, I think Bandai is a pretty big company, in the toys industrial it's equivalent to cars as BMW or Benz. If someone's showing off a car that looks exactly like your BMW, but 50 grands cheaper, wouldn't that piss you off?

So you're saying you basically want them to fully recreate the box and trick people into buying it, only to find it's a piece of shit knockoff? I'd rather have them actually put all those Chinese characters on it. At least it'll inform people that it's bootleg.
Also, what do you mean by "defy the law in customers' faces". It's a bootleg. Buy it or don't. It's not like they're forcing you to. You're pissed off cause something is defying the law? Haven't you seen someone jaywalk or someone speeding? That's all defying the law in your face. Do you get just as angry over it? Seriously. China is a country known for counterfeits. It's not going to change anytime soon, because China has a very loose approach to copyright.
And no. It wouldn't piss me off. Don't compare it to cars cause the figures are different as hell. You're talking about 3 more digits.

I guess everyone feels different about the world. I usually gets piss off if things like this happens, but I guess not everyone feels the same. No argument about that.

Haha, interesting response. I, for one wouldn't buy from that company, which is common where i'm from, the quality just isn't as good..

i don't like it very much, low quality plastic and not neat. but i do buy it when i have broken parts and i can't fix it anymore. Or to take some parts for customize. the rest will become parts of diorama as scrap. So i won't sacrifice gunpla from bandai.
