Use Win 8. Have old Win 7 recovery partition after upgrade.

So I upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 8 Pro on my laptop back in October. After said upgrade, that left me with a 16.4 gigabyte recovery partition for Windows 7 Home Premium. My question is, do you think I should delete said partition so I can use the hard drive space for something else or leave it alone?

Leave it alone. Better safe than sorry :P. And you never know when you'll miss that ol' windows 7

Use Norton Ghost to backup your Windows 7 to an external Hard drive, then you can safely delete it.

As long you have a back up to reinstall Windows 7. I would think it is save to leave it alone if you have
the memory.

Keep the partition. You will thank yourself later.
