Uses for mozzarella ?

So I was making pizza for my housemates a while ago and while shopping for ingredients i noticed that the mozzarella was reduced in price to 18p rather than £1.80, so naturally i bought 8 packs, cause im a mouse and fuking love cheese.

So now Ive got heaps left over.

Wondering if you guys had any good recipes for mozzarella usage?

Baked pasta like rigatoni or penne.
If it fresh cheese then slice it up with tomatoes, garlic and olive oil for Caprese.
Melt it and pour garlic oil.
Egg wash, bread crumbs and fry.
Pizza dough and sauce and make a pastie. Or just eat it with garlic and oil.

omelettes
burgers
sandwiches
stuffed chicken breasts
caprese salad
pasta


basically anything and everything

Put some of the cheese in a mouse trap and get some of those mice out of your home.

You could put them in grits, spaghetti, toast with butter, veggies, french fries, burgers and hotdogs.

Ooh, I know a great recipe for an herbed monkeybread.
It makes a great appetizer or snack to share(/greedily devour).

I would recommend potato bake. All you really need for it is cheese, potatoes and cream sauce.

Lasagna! Alll the lasagna.
Also poutines <3. (Fries, gravy and mozzarella cheese)

Cheese sticks or balls.
Grilled portobello and mozzarella :3.
Epic grilled cheeses.

I think im super late D: but maybe like a caprese salad...or just in salad in general...with bacon...or just take the mozzarella, cut into strips, roll them in bacon bits, then roll them in an egg wash, then in bread crumbs and bake/fry them O_O

Easiest one of all, eat it right out of the packaging as it! Yay to the power of cheese!! \(OoO)\ /(OoO)/

I personally like it topped on tomato slices with balsamic vinaigrette drizzled over the top, with some basil sprinkled on. Simple but divine.
