What are some good laptops?

Including the iPad, I'm curious on opinions since I have no idea on the market at all. I want a pretty big hard drive for pictures and videos though! Around 500 GB sounds good.

You'd be hard pressed to find a tablet along the lines of an iPad or android tab with 500gb of storage.
If you really need that kind of storage then you'd probably have to bump up your price range and product to an ultrabook tablet convertible or something similar

Ultrabook? Those are the ones that last 12 hours, right? Hm, I'll just stick with a regular tablet. Just need one to play VN games like Taimanin Asagi 3 and the rest of the series. What is the average HD on tablets? Now looking if 250 is common.

Most tablets have hdd's around 64-128, some stretch to 250gb iirc but not all. If you want to be playing VN's and whatnot on them however, you're probably gonna be in the market for a Windows 8 tablet of some sort. Just make sure what you're getting is x86, that is, uses an intel/amd CPU and not running Windows 8 RT but Pro.
Should probably take a look here on newegg

Wow, pretty expensive around $700 average, I just want to spend about $300 or less if possible. I think I'll go with a cheap laptop to play the VNs, which of course has to be a reliable company. Thanks for the help, Rovencrone. I learned quite a bit from your replies.

You can replace the low GB SSD in most tablets. My used xps 12 is i5 with 256 GB. The Samsung Ativ Book 9 is i7 and 256. Only downside is ram is soldiered on.

personally at $300 price point I would lean toward Asus for laptop. Asus been known for good reliable company that make quality products to me.
I got 1 of their monitors and some graphic cards about 5~6 years now and still running strong today. Not saying they are the only brand I buy from.

I am curious if the tablets can run something like Taimanin Asagi 3. No doubt since the games aren't that strong.

Yeah, I hear Asus has the best in the market, just something cheap for VNs and I know they make quality products. Might end up going with an Asus laptop now and for $300, not a bad deal!
