What brought you to looking at Doujinshi?

Hey, dear FAKKU users!
This is my first ever post on the FAKKU forums so I decided why not start with a big question/discussion?
I'm 100% sure that if I'm thinking about this then it has already been asked in the past but shifting through 92 pages of forum pages is just way too time consuming so I'll ask again.

What brought you into reading/enjoying/loving Doujinshi?

What brought me into it is that I stumbled upon FAKKU purely out of coincidence after trying to find some H-h-h-hentai. At first it was obvious why I started loving it, but after watching a ton of vanilla and finishing it I had this constant empty feeling in my heart wanting more after the happy ending; like a simple loving kiss and embrace wasn't enough; it didn't seem like that showed enough love to me. I wanted the characters to show something more than that, and of course the only thing that shows stronger feelings is to do e-ecchi things and that is where Doujinshi steps in for my experience. The art is a nice plus as well.

My first doujinshi was actually just an original art work that I came across in an anime convention. A couple pages of wallpapers without any texts or story. I liked the art, so I looked up more of them in the Internet, but ended up finding this site instead lol.

My interest is very similar to yours. I have been reading doujinishi for quite some time now, yet I still only read Vanilla. I love the story, and unlike anime or manga it quickly gets to the point which saves me time.

One thing though, and maybe this is just me, but I think this thread is better suited to be posted in either "Random" or "Manga, Doujinshi, and Video Discussion" section. Someone might move this discussion for you so don't worry about it. Anyway, welcome once again and please enjoy your stay here.

There is a search option at the top of the forums you know (go to the main forum page and you'll see a box for "forum search")? Either that or do fakku and "whatever information you are looking for" into google and you can find it that way too.

I didn't really understand doujinshi when I found the site a while back (was mainly just looking for anime art, which led me to discover doujinshi, which led me to here). I like it mainly because I love anime/manga and I like erotic fiction. Also not a fan or 3d porn since it's so cheesy to watch/read. I use to only read vanilla based works, but now I just read whatever peaks my interest. Only genre's I'm not a fan of is fatherXdaughter/son or motherXdaughter/son, other then that I'll read whatever and usually go to other sites for more varied content.

These are all interesting stories! It's intriguing how many different incidences in all our lives led us to this common ground of finding Doujinshi.

when i was in junior high a long time ago, i started watching anime. I watched some generic ecchi harem, and i thought the girls were sexy. I went looking for naked pics of them, and eventually found fakku a few years later. never went back.

I honestly can't remember how exactly I got here, but I probably found hentai videos on some website. Then I googled "hentai" and found Fakku, and now I've been here for like 2 years.

Puberty, Curiosity, and Paizuri, Femdom, and Persona 4.

I think the 3rd or 4th anime I ever saw was Dragon Half, which was hentai. At that point I knew stuff like this was out there and the rest is history.

I think it all started because of an anime or a video game I played that had some very attractive female characters and a few searches just led me to CG art and doujins. But nowadays I mainly look for original mangas or nice pictures of characters rather than full doujinshis. yande.re is my best friend for my anime characters though =)

My first doujin was an old one, from D.L stories, Accel x LO. And that was.. like 4 years ago (?), i can't really remember. But i didn't had an account, i recently made one - i forgot the password and i was offline for six months LOL, but i was always checking the new material - I started reading R-18 suff since 2009, and then when i started watching anime and reading manga almost everyday, i eventually felt like that wasn't good enough anymore, because when you have ship feels and you want it to be canon so bad, the doujins always make you happy ORZ
So, i decided to finally searh for uncensored or at least stronger material, and now i'm here.
Nowdays i'm just here for he art and stories, as a freelancer artist i wanna learn more about anatomy and plot development.
Maybe making some friends? I dunno.

When I was about 14 yrs old, looking at inuyasha doujin bought me here. Ah the good old days.

I started with anime/manga at around 7-8 and i was pretty much hooked. Then later on maybe 10-11 i discovered some of my first hentai anime. Moonlight Lady which, still is among the top yuri for me. (I'm an early bloomer!!) After that i came across different doujin. I mainly stick to vanilla doujins since i find my life to be a bit miserable and i need something to sweeten it up.
