What I think of Elitism

I think it's pretty rude bringing up that word. What I think of elitism is that it shoves off the lesser, If you're a person with elite attribute but still respects the lesser, I guess you're not an elitist. Was it correct?

So if one possesses these "elite attributes" will it make the person in question an elitist? But when that person gives some form of respect to a person that has not attained these attributes, will your status of being an elitist diminish?

I must research more in to this subject, so I can attain these "attributes" and eventually learn to shoot lasers from my eyes so I can destroy those who cannot. Making this world full of elitists and because all men and women can shoot lasers from their eyes, all will be deemed equal and this hierarchy of higher beings and lesser beings will cease to exist along with the concept of elitism.
