What is the best dish you have ever prepared?

I'm curious to see who out there have the culinary prowess to "toot their own horn" about the best food they've ever made.
-can be your own invention
-can be a recipe you've taken and edited to taste
-who did you make it for
-what was the occasion
-how did you serve it
I recently stumbled upon a little gem of a recipe. might not be anything to anyone else but I love chicken and corn soup, and its really hard to find a good recipe. I like small chicken chunks (0.5ml squares), and lots of corn kernels, the actual stock that the chunks are mixed with has a thicker consistency compared to water. I have only ever had soup like this once before when i worked for a restaurant a few years back. And then i was googling a chicken and corn soup recipe because i was craving it, plus i wanted to cook something nice for tea thats easy. The outcome was similar, but i'm still tweaking it to be perfect ^_^
okay, your turn. and....... GO!

I made a Snoweshoe chicken dinner.
It was maple-cooked chicken breasts with a side of green beans and something else...
For desert, I have made a large pineapple upside down cake. Apparently it was good...
I had made these to eat? My brother ate most of the cake. *sigh* Hence the uncertainty about the taste.

Goodness that all sounds so good. I make spag bog (as its called here in AUS, commonly spaghetti bolagnase) all the time in my house.
Good job everyone :) keep going with it? What would you eventually like to master cooking, or plan to try making in the future? I'm making little gingerbread houses for Christmas. I'll let you know how it goes.
My mouth is watering :) yum yum Om nom nom ;p

I like to cook a lot and I think the best thing I've ever made is herb-chicken and mushroom pasta. I got the recipe off of a cream of chicken can and added some herbs, spices, and different cheeses to make is tastier. I'll usually make it for my friends or family when I have time and will make home-made garlic bread as an extra treat!

I got this idea from my brother.
You rub hoisin sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt on some chicken and place it in the oven. Quick, easy, and delicious. Served with steamed rice. Simple but sometimes simplicity is best.
