What is your motivation to draw something?
What is your driving force behind your art?

The same as the title of my post, i would like to inquire you (yes, you - the one infront of your computer) who likes (or hates) to draw something - be it a doodle, sketch, line art, CG, or 3DCG about your motivation to draw something since the question keeps bugging me all he time :-). If you would, please took 5 seconds to vote the poll and drop one or two lines about your motivation to draw something!

I definitely fit the 4th category.
I love to draw, be it for fun or for more of a business thing, but when ever I see others' art (especially some exceptional ones on danbooru) it only aspires me to become better, contradictory to how I would think it'd make me feel in crushing my confidence. I love to draw, and I look forward to practicing more and more to get better.

For me it's not really any :B
I draw simply because I'm driven to if I feel a spark of inspiration to draw and created then I do it!!! When I finish a completed sketch I get a sense of fulfillment that I have completed something that I can be proud of that only I could have done.

I haven't given this idea too deep of a thought, but off the top of me head it would be something like this.
Part of my motivation lies in the desire to be able to draw like the artists I look up to. Another part of my motivation derives from the satisfaction I get when drawing. And the last part of it is so that I can make a work that both me and other people would be able to enjoy.

Seems like we had much in common :), the feeling of "what? he's not a japanese but he can draw that good? better hone my skills quick!" kind of feeling - anyone ever take a manga drawing course? because i never had taken one. If you did, does it proves useful or not? Would like to hear some responses :)
