What Type of Keyboard Layout do you Use?

Keyboard is an important part of a computer system, it's been there since the first computer with display exists.

So in accordance to this poll, i would to ask you guy what kind of keyboard layout do you guys use to type play games and so on and so forth.

Basically I can use both QWERTY and DVORAK not the left and right version though. Still i preferred DVORAK for most document, report and assignment Typing. I use QWERTY for gaminsg pleasure because not many game support DVORAK and need to change the game setting if i use DVORAK keyboard layout.

If this thread does not belong here please move it to the appropriate places. Sorry for the trouble.

I use QWERTY Keyboard at anything I do. I've only seen DVORAK keyboard when I was a child. You should add images of the keyboards.

This one's an interesting one. Apparently DVORAK is much faster for writing/typing than QWERTY.
I personally use QWERTY though it would be an interesting experience to try out a DVORAK keyboard to see the difference.

This is the keyboard that I modify the layout from a cheap QWERTY keyboard.

I don't know about the speed, but I type better with DVORAK layout in term of speed compare to QWERTY one.

QWERTY, only because that was the only way I was taught how to type.
And I use different computers, so it would be really odd to switch back and forth for me.

I wish I could use the DVORAK keyboard layout. Heard you type like 50% faster with it.
However, I loathe changing myself if it takes effort, and as this is a recreational endeavor I probably never will.

I use QWERTY, and even though I've heard about DVORAK, I've never actually had the chance to type on one.

As for the other option, I also type a lot using my thumbs these days using my iTouch on my pc....It's also qwerty though, but meh.

I use both QWERTY and DVORAK. DVORAK does make more sense to type with, but I'm still getting used to it, so I'm not super fast yet. I also use Russian and Japanese standard keyboard layout for when I'm typing in those languages.

QWERTY, since it's so inured in me now, that I type blind. Even when typing Russian I rather use phonetic layouts so I can rely on muscle memory.

QWERTY, I can type on par of 80-100wpm in the layout...I think that is good enough for me.

QWERTY for me. Grew up on it for the most part and i can type up to 80 WPM, so I'm fine with the QWERTY layout.

I would like to try DVORAK though, it seems interesting enough.

QWERTY cause it's alright. Though if I was a typing instructor in school I would force the kids to learn DVORAK. Would be great.

Same. I've heard of, but never used or even personally seen a DVORAK keyboard. I'm used to and quite proficient at the QWERTY layout, so it's supposed issues have never been an issue for me.

My QWERTY keyboard is now a FUCKIT keyboard.

I use the QWERTY layout for both typing and gaming. I honestly don't think I will be able to type faster than my current 97 WPM nor do I care.

QWERTY, never seen a DVORAK layout until i seen the picture here. 99.9999% percent of computers in my country utilize QWERTY layout since well...it's the only one available.
