Where dose this file go?

(excuse me if I keep this brief because its the second time I've had to type it this due to ... an unfortunate mistake)
In a nut shell here is my problem I have this DLL File sqlite3.dll. That DLL file appeared on the Desktop after I slept (I fall asleep on the computer and have often found things pined to the bottom or programs opened that I never opened when I wake). Every website I checked told me this is a very important DLL but none of them told me were it belongs so I'm very afraid of deleting it. Windows will not tell me were it was moved from only that I was created yesterday. Any help at all would be appreciated even if its only directing me to somewhere else I might get my answer. This is the only site I know of that I can get answers from and I'm a little desperate right now.

There are few instances where programs(namely Skype) leave that .dll on the desktop after installation. I myself have no clue why they do that or whether it's that they've moved it from where it originally was or created another instance of it on the desktop.
Generally, I just drop .dlls into Windows/System32 folder but I wouldn't advise you to take to my example. You've said the .dll file is very important according to your sources so if there has been no errors since the file appeared, it's safe to assume that the file is only a copy of the original. But to be safe, probably keep hold of that file.
P.S. I'm not expert when it comes to computer software so what I've said is generally just what I might do in your situation.

IT'S Skype! I downloaded Skype last night, dame it. So its ok I'm guessing ill just leave it there unless I see an error later on. Thanks for the reply it really helped release all that pressure I've been under. Thank you so very much.
