buy all your food from supermarket chains or farmer's markets and butchers.

you get all your shopping done in the supermarket but it fresher and healthier to get it from the farmer's market then off to the butcher for the meats and if you like fish market(not a fish person).

me personally i have no choice to get my food from the big markets but i try to buy vegs from the food stands if im going to cook that today.. can't find green tomatoes in the supermarket.

no choice but thr super market everything is cheap and stuff like tomamtos and fruits u can grow on ur own just from buying the seeds at the home depot you say ur not a fish person but if u r a guy a womans va jay jay sometimes smells like fish i know u must have saw those commercials about that douche and they show the smell of fish well any ways i say super market cuz its great for cheapasses like myself if i want that organic stuff i gorw it its actualy fun getting to eat soemthing you put time and love to

and that why i like the framer's market, it organic

For the practical person who doesn't really have time to scour for deals then go to the Supermarket. The farmers market is better for people who can go everyday and have the money and can afford it. Also the best stuff is always early in the morning. As for fresh think of that as more $$$ to the farmers market.

If your within the city its going to be extremely hard to come across green tomatoes.

Although i wouldn't greatly worry about that for a diet unless you like to eat them.

also remember that supermarket tends to carry selected pieces which mean it might be overall better in some cases

you say you can't grow stuff because you live in the city have you thought about just buying pot and base and putting it in the house tomatoes aren't hard to grow they just need some water and a little sun. I have grown a lot of different vegetables and tomatoes were on of the easiest.

There are no farmer's markets where I live, because most of the food is imported from neighborhood countries to begin with. I'm pretty sure there might be a butcher shop somewhere, but I haven't seen it so far.

So supermarket. Plus, it's very close to my flat, so I can get all shopping done in under an hour.

a flower pot with a saucer to collect the water is all you need. And you have to drill holes in the bottom of the pot so the water doesn't collect in the dirt.
