Why would a Mom beat her own 8 month old child?

I laughed, but not at what was happening, but why it was happening. You shouldn't have any right to beat your child, especially if they're eight months+-. No matter what the child did, a phone shouldn't have to be thrown at it as abuse. The baby kept trying to go to her for comfort and her method was to pinch the head or hit it off.

Well, I was bashed back when I was a kid, but I didnt have any grudge whatsoever towards my parents.
Because they were teaching me what is right and what is wrong, and since I was a bit stubborn, they didnt have any choice but yeah.
But of course now that I am technically an adult, this never happen anymore.

They even said sorry for what they did, I mean, don't be, because they are teaching me whats right and wrong.

In my opinion, giving a little bit of beating is fine to an extent, so the kid won't dare doing something stupid after being taught "a lesson" by their parents.

Ditto, raised the asian way as well. I remembered when I was young and I used to get belt in the ass when I did something stupid. Now, when I do something fucked up, my dad just smacks me in the back of the head. That kind of treatment given to the baby was just plain fucked up. That's just something you don't do to a 8 month old baby.

The mom had no right to justify her means of beating it up, I heard on youtube that someone raped the mom and have gotten her pregnant and this kid came out.

Well if she didn't wanna have it then she could have just handed it over to the city for other families to take care of it.

There is no excuse for what the mom did in that video. As for how i was raised, my mom was more about physical punishment than my dad. I think i came out all right, but i grew up much closer to my dad than my mom. it wasn't because my mom didn't love me or anything like that, it is just i do a lot more stuff with my dad then my mom. And the one time my mom was angry at me, while he made it clear he didn't go the physical route, though i still felt bad about it as what i did was kind of a douche move(short story because i forget to tell my aunt i got a ride from school and she ended up staying outside the school wondering where i was).
