No nostalgia for me since pooh didn't air here. I only know it from playing KH.
The animations look fucking gorgeous (I didn't know disney still made 2d movies???). This should be the perfect oportunity to catch up on this classic series.

I am wondering if this particular Winnie the Pooh movie will be screened locally. I got to show some support for him; after all, we are distant relatives. :D
To go a little off-topic, I have always wondered if Pooh and his friends are real animals... or are they stuffed toys?

My guess is that they're stuffed toys, and that all of their adventures are part of Christopher Robin's imagination. I believe one of the main underlying messages of the Winnie the Pooh stories is to free your mind and to use your imagination. Its all about they joys of childhood; the adventure, the freedom, and the feeling that you're on top of the world as long as you've got your friends by your side. And Christopher's best friends in the world are his stuffed animals.
Thats just the opinion of a guy who had waaayyyyyyyy to much time on his hands as a kid =P

As touching a story and as deep a meaning as it is, you can't help but think of how anti-social Christopher Robin is having only stuffed toys as friends.
But that's just me being hypercritical.

Maybe the Hundred Acre Wood represents how big and lonely the world is, and Christopher Robin finds solace spending time with his stuffed animals.

If the things in the post above are true, then disney would be genius for that.except they became dumb when they ditched classic cartoons.

Hell yes. More Winnie the Pooh done RIGHT is always a good thing. Not sure if I'll go see it in THEATERS, though...
