Wireless Router

[size=14]I just recently bought a wireless-N router and I think the computers in my house use G-receivers. I know that the router scales back to accommodate for the receivers but if I was to buy a N-receiver for one of my computers would it be at the "N" speed instead of the "G" speed like the other computers Or will it say at the "G" speed.[/h]

"im always cute"
The connection between a 802.11n node and a 802.11n receiver would be capable of throughput expected of the 802.11n protocol.

Um, I'm not sure I get the question... if you mean to ask if that specific PC that you replace the receiver for will get N speeds, then yes.
The N receiver and the PC hooked up to it will indeed get the N speeds, and the other computers will stay the same unless they somehow work off the same upgraded receiver, like if you had the PC sharing its connection through ICS to the other computers (probably through ethernet), which would probably give slower speeds anyway.
