Suppose for the rest of your life you can only have either masturbation or sex. One or the other, as in you'd be physically incapable of doing the one you don't choose.

Choosing sex doesn't mean you get a free ride into another person's pants. You still have to earn your fucks. Choosing masturbation means you're free to pleasure yourself as much as you'd like, regardless of your partner's desire to give.

Some implications for choosing masturbation:
1. Non PIV (or whatever you're into) sexual activities are also forbidden. No blowjobs, handies, or other sexual play permitted.
2. You are also not allowed to perform such sexual activities for others.

Some implications for choosing sex:
1. If you're in a relationship and you can't get any, you're only left with the options of cheating, breaking up, or sucking it up.
2. Other people getting you off is also not permitted. It has to be a full blown mutual activity.

And I assume urges stay the same even if you're denied sex, right? No-brainer choice: wanking.

I'll stick with my hands, fingers, etc. Partners are nice and all, but personally enjoy going solo for the best results.

Yeah but imagination can be better then the real deal half the time. Not knocking sex, had some great partners in the past that were much better then my two hands, but if I was forced to choose between only one and the other, I'll stick with going solo. I like my imagination moreso then what I am offered in bed.

Keep in mind your partner would have to get you off if you're horny in this scenario so if they are too busy, away on a trip, too tired, etc to get you off when you desperately want it you're shit outta luck unless you feel like cheating.

I've met very few but over-excellent partners (twice). To be honest, although I prefer masturbate over most of "random" intercourse possibilities, I swear those two were something -- I just regret it didn't work out the geographical distance, making/ending us break up each time T_T

While I love masturbation, I think that I spend way too much time doing it. If I wasn't allowed or physically unable to or whatever this choice implies, ide probably be a lot more productive. So I'll choose sex.

Why if in a relationship could I not get any sex?

Some couples just have problems. Examples:
1. You got in a fight with your significant other. They don't want to be intimate with you right now.
2. You love your partner thoroughly but they don't enjoy sex for one reason or another.
3. Your partner is ultra religious and won't sleep with you until after getting married.

2. Thing you would address and either create a solution with them or again the relationship ends.
3. If in that type of relationship obviously if you choose masturbation you are figuring that won't work for you.

You're trying to tell me that these aren't problems but the reality is that stuff like this does happen. It's cool that you have it figured out, so these sorts of things wouldn't get in your way. I'm sure that it's not that simple for others though.

Uh no i am saying there are solutions to each problems that can be obtained. So if there are ways to solve those problems it doesn't mean you won't have sex anymore.
