You know what's always bothered me about Gundam?

I was watching SEED Destiny just now, and it hit me:
The internet took a nosedive after giant robots were invented.
Somehow, some way, these governments throughout the series, all of them, have had massive technological breakthroughs, played god, kept well-laid evil schemes, and no one knew about it.
Nowadays, it takes one disgruntled employee with an anonymous blog...hell, a copy of notepad, and suddenly everyone knows the big secret.
But here...jeez, it's like google cache doesn't even exist.

I have to go for the story. It's like the story circles around the same thing every series. It's like Earth Vs. Space Colonies.

The anime episodes did not feature what was happening behind the scenes. All employees involved in the invention and production of mechs were either brainwashed into not leaking the secret or sworn to secrecy. With the latter, doing otherwise may result in execution of the culprit and his/her family, perhaps with even harsher punishments.
Just speculation on my part. :D

that's why you should see gundam in UC Century. like Gundam 0079,08th MS Team,Gundam 0080,Gundam 0083,Z Gundam,ZZ Gundam, etc.
i admit i hate Gundam SEED because it's suck, like you said. that's not weird, because the creator of Gundam SEED isnt Tomino Yoshiyuki-sensei who make the previous Gundam series.

Seed is ok to me.Must be because of the story or the way it was drawn that you didn't like.Anyways just for fun try watching the Seed theater.

Story is why I hate Seed and GSD. There's not much originality and the parts where they strayed off the original ideas was terrible. When I heard the original ending for Seed, I was pissed that it wasn't used. When I learned about the intended ending for GSD, I got really pissed off at Fukuda for having great ideas, then having his wife say no and single-handedly fuck up the series.

well Seed didnt bother me that much but GSD did with all those crappy plot and flash backs(even if you didnt watch Seed youd get the story of it while watching GSD)

In the case of Seed, the original ending has one brighter side, while the rest was a bit darker. Basically, Flay was supposed to live and pilot the Strike Rouge, which is why the Gundam is red in the first place. Also, Athrun was supposed to lose an arm or something along those lines, while Kira was supposed to DIE by self-destructing Freedom and destroying GENESIS.
As for the GSD ending, it's something along the lines of more people dying, Kira and Athrun losing and ZAFT wins. If they went with that, it opens up a possible ZZ-esque sequel where someone new would take down ZAFT.
The reason none of these great ideas weren't put into effect? That bitch, Morosawa aka Mitsuo Fukuda's wife. She got to do whatever the fuck she wanted and thus, single-handedly ruined potential greatness.

Any man knows that if you want sex with the wife you need to give up on few things. So the only reason that I can think is that she used the sex chip, maybe even promised to try something new or a fetish of his.

Watched a bit of GSD today.
they recycle scenes way too much. HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO SEE DESTINY FIRE A BLAST FROM THE SAME ANGLE!?!?
but true, the original ending for seed would have been better, more so for destiny.
damn you fuckuda.... divorce that bitch already.

It's called stock footaging. Everyone uses it, even Gundam Wing, but Seed and GSD overuse it and not only that, it's so ridiculously noticeable and done horribly wrong. I recall something along the lines of a ship firing green beam shots to their target and when it reaches them, they just happen to be yellow or the reverse.
And yes, Fukuda was controlled by his wife, along with character polls and model sales. Why do you think Nichol died? Model sales. Why do you think Dearka lived? Again, model sales. Why is Kira still alive? All three reasons.

it bothers me that the fight of freedom with the destiny(where the freedom loses) is the same as the fight of Freedom with the Providence and that some mobile suits came out from other series Like the DOM(this also includes the black trinity) and also the Ability of the Akatsuki to deflect beams is the same from that suit char used in Zeta Gundam(if im right)

The Akatsuki was a ridiculous ripoff of both the Hyaku Shiki AND the Nu Gundam, it's not even funny. ...Well, maybe a little. Can you imagine what would happen if Amuro has the Akatsuki instead of the Nu Gundam?
"The Akatsuki's not just for show!"
"Not for show?! It's friggin' shiny and gold!"
"Yeah, but it does other things..."
In any case, the lack of imagination in the mecha designs is what kills Seed and GSD, along with the lack of a good story. CE had potential, but it was ruined because of bad writing and an incompetent director. That is why I enjoyed Gundam Seed Stargazer. If it wasn't so short, it would have been a brilliant series. The mecha designs weren't the most original, except in the case of Stargazer. It is definitely one of my favorite CE designs, along with the Strike Noir since it's not too overpowered, yet still badass.

SEED was quite nice to watch in my opinion. Sure some things weren't perfect, but nevermind that.
However GSD was ... pathetic? It was like a poor repetition of GS. The thing that annoyed me the most is that it was way too predictable. Actually typing out all the negative things about it would take longer than typing what was good about it, so I am not going to bother.

SEED was bad, but slightly more passable than GSD. To start, the storyline was unoriginal and slower than its copy, being the original Mobile Suit Gundam. For example, Amuro got in his Gundam and took out two Zaku IIs in the first episode, while in SEED, it took the first episode to get in the Gundam and then the second episode to take out the GINNs. It took another episode just to escape Junius Seven and quite a bit to get out of Artemis's Umbrella. SEED is slower by at least a few episodes when it comes to copying events. Also, SEED had terrible stock footaging, especially in the latter half of the series. Along with the stock footaging, the mecha designs aren't the most original, save for maybe the BuCUEs and La Gowes. The rest have obvious UC counterparts, such as GINNs being Zaku IIs, ZNo equalling a Gogg, and GuAIZ equalling a Gelgoog.
As a bonus, I hate how Fukuda had a great original ending, but it was thrown away because he was stupid enough to hire his wife AND have her control the whole damn show.

what bothers me is that.. most gundams in that was that the hero is using has always this white, blue, red, yellow scheme.. why is it that they are using the same colors all over and over again? (although unicorn is pure white and the ez8 too)

The horror...I can't unsee it. WHY!? I've spent years to forget the horror of Fukuda and his wife! Oh well, don't mind me. I'm just exaggerate thing.
As for the color scheme, it's like some kind of tradition that most gundam type, especially the main mecha to got "tri-color" scheme, that's it.
