I think the whole of Strange Little Girl by The Stranglers has excellent lyrics. They tell a story and they're very emotive. They're open to analysis and interpretation, though the actual meaning is crystal clear. The lyrics for most of The Stranglers' best known songs are all meaningful and thought-provoking.

One of the lines that repetitively gives me goosebumps is from Key Entity Extraction V: Sentry The Defiant by Coheed and Cambria.

Before I give the line, the story has to do with an individual named Sirius. This man is on a hunt for this place in space named the Keywork. The Keywork is place where the afterlife of souls end up at. So this man (Sirius) goes to the Keywork and finds out that there are entities in their, but what he doesn't know is that these entities can posses him and make him relive the entities horrible past life (which is preventing them from moving on). This one entity (Vic The Butcher) full of hate and malice possess Sirius and has him relive his life which is gruesome(Vic killed a lot of people whether they were innocent or not). Due to reliving this entities gruesome past life, Sirius starts to die when this entity (Evagria) who is like a Mother tending to these unguided entities saves Sirius by removing Vic from Sirius. Then another entity (Sentry) comes to help. Sentry was killed by Vic because he wanted Vic to be judged for his crimes. So Sirius tries to help Sentry move on which he does successfully. Then Sirius is able to head back home. Now the time Sirius spent on the Keywork felt like almost a week. But that's not true.

This line here just gives me goosebumps. Can't explain why but...this guy has literally been through A LOT! And to be asked a question "Do you still want to go home?" after all he has been through is like...going through a war for 2 years and asked if you want to go home (not that I have been through war). It get to me, makes me wonder about life ya know. (sorry if this is a long explanation.)

I really enjoy the lyrics to Aqueous Transmission by Incubus. They're written to kind of guide listeners on a journey down a river while listening to the song; the music acts as the river though, so it'd be best to just listen to the song. However, the lyrics really do help strengthen the song.

Theres two Kamelot lines I adore and they stand out more than any other

"Somewhere in time I will find you and love you again" - the haunting. While the song is about the first sceen in the second part of faust I feel it can apply to many situations.
"All I really ever wanted was for you to die in the arms of someone" - hunter's season. It was written for the kyeboardist mother when she passed away and theres something bitter sweet about that line.

The first time I heard Brain Damage by Pink Floyd, I was amazed at how perfect the chorus is, especially when it goes

"And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon"

Another song I discovered somewhat recently is Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
