Your little "rituals" when eating food

Basically, we all have food that we enjoy. Wouldn't be human if you didn't enjoy a little something. But, are there any "rituals" you take when eating a certain food? Or do you just eat food differently to other people in general, or both?

I'l get the ball rolling:

Milky Way Chocolate bars

I pick off the outer chocolate shell and eat it, which could take up to 5 minutes. Once it's been picked clean of all it's chocolate, I roll up the nougat cente (and any bits of chocolate that got left behind) into a ball then pop it in my mouth, savouring it before eating it. Multiple Milky Way bars can be picked and their nougat centres can rolled up together to make a bigger nougat ball which takes forever to eat entirely.

Jaffa cakes

Jaffa cakes are pretty much on the same level as Milky Ways.

First, I break off the cakey base from the jelly middle, eat the cake and pick the leftover chocolate off from the jelly with my fingers. Where my fingers go in my mouth, my saliva gets all over the jelly, which is perfect. I continue doing so with the entire packet, making a small tower out of all the jelly centres. Then, when I've eaten the entire packet and I can no longer add to my jelly tower, I scoff the lot.

When it comes to mealtimes, I save the best food for last, as well as eating each "type" of food seperately. Say I have a plate of mashed potato, gravy, veg and sausages. I'll eat the mash first, then the veg, then try and drink the gravy with a spoon, and eat the sausages last.

While eating a fried chicken (doesn't matter what brand it is), I remove the coatings first then I eat the meat. I eat the coating afterwards, for the aftertaste.

SAVE THE BEST FOR THE LAST!
I think this is how most of the people eat, but I hate it when my sister just start taking what she thought the "left overs" when I was savoring it! Damn youuuu!

Twix:
I peel the caramel off, very carefully. I then eat it, and the chocolate on top. Left for last, I eat the cookie, as it is the best part.

3 Musketeer bar (or anything nougaty):
Bite of the chocolate around it, very carefully. This way the nougat is left and I ca roll it up and eat it. Or I put it in the fridge to chill. And then eat it in it's bar shape.

eating all the chocolate of an ah caramel and then drinking the caramel. I usually throw away the cake after...

I'd dip almost all my snacks into my special sauce blend, usually full of disgusting combinations.

Zebra cakes: gently open the wrapper, stuff the entire cake in my mouth. Attempt to chew like a little fat kid.
Peppermints: I will only eat when I have winterfresh gum. Chew the gum a bit, pop the mint. Grind it to dust, and enjoy the really cold, but weird texture.
Cheetos hot fries: I only eat with orange sherbet. Dip cheetos in the sherbet, pop in mouth dipped side first. Weirdest combos, but it works.

When I eat something that includes a solid base to build upon, i.e Yorkshire puddings or even bread I like to put the food inside, so all the flavours mix together.

…If I am eating a dish that has a side added to the dish and its really good I will leave a bit of each of the sides at the end and eat it all up in one bite. Get all those juicy flavors in my mouth at once. Gwahhh

I like to eat everything at once. like others said above, eat one part at a time, i like to mix everything on the plate together. so long as they can go together, like a breakfast of eggs potatoes and a meat. if pancakes or waffles are included, they stay separate(pancakes and ketchup?! syrup and eggs?!). thanksgiving dinner: mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey, and gravy all mixxed together. many people who have eaten with me complained that id looks disgusting, but i don't care.

also, bread with every meal.

I disassemble chicken sandwiches. Always have. Eat the top bun first, then savor the delicious chicken, then the bottom bun. Works best with Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich without all the extra crap they throw on it.

I also enjoy disassembling the fun-size 100 Grand Bars. They are delicious eaten coating first and then caramel. :)

Some of you do odd things to your candy bars, just eat it as is! Interesting though. XD

When theres a meal with meat and vegetable, I tend to save some meat for last.

Whenever I eat sate, whether chicken or lamb (oh, it's a traditional food btw), I always put the sauce on the rice and ate them first, leaving the sate later.

with those jelly cookies. I usually bite around the side. Then peel off the jelly coating with my tongue. Then when the middle part is all soggy, thats when I eat it :D
