I just discovered a french singer, she's become pretty popular these days.
It's really promising, she has a very particular voice, very Edith Piaf-like, it's a bit groovy, and the lyrics, for those who can understand them are pretty good. I'm looking forward to see her evolve after her first album.
The first song is my favourite, the second one is the popular single in France.

So I listened to it on Skype and said it was cool. Totally posting about it now. Give me more French music. <3

Haha! I'm glad you liked it! I'll link Renan Luce too then, and a few others, but maybe I have to change the thread's title to "French hippie music"?
Renan Luce is a relatively new popular singer, and his songs are always made like little stories, there's a funny or sad ending, it's most of the time nice to listen to.
For you Aspie :)
Perverted song...
And another band, Tryo, that is very popular in France, because the lyrics have a political or social message most of the time. But the music is still very good, in my opinion.
This one is about how we need to save forests and whatnot
This song is more on the funny side, about love, but the video really is funny.
