Christian Views On Masturbation,

Personally I don't think its got to do with you jacking off, It is possible that all that has happened is just mere coincidence. Try not thinking about it to much plus you said you were Christan right?not Jewish because there is nothing in the bible that I know of that said you can not masturbate.
hope I helped.

Jacking off has nothing to do with your woes. I'm christian and I fap all the time and nothing bad has happened to me. Don't worry about the Bible just live your life the way you want to live it.

I'm a Roman Catholic, was educated in a religious school all my life and let me tell you, the Patres didn't shun masturbation they encouraged us youths to practice it healthily (that means not going overboard and leaving your hand with third degree burns). Sex is a natural thing in order to preserve the human race, however since we have high-reasoning skills (in comparison with other animals) we can't be mating all day long, thus masturbation is required in order to relieve yourself and not commit something that you may regret your entire life.

I used to think that the problems in my life were because of the sins I've committed, but I realized that it isn't true. The bible says that the consequences of sin is death/hell, not earthly misfortunes. Good things happen to both good and bad people, and bad things happen to both good and bad people; Matt 5:45 "He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous".

I’m Christian and the biggest problem that I began to have, similar to your case, was that I was feeling like a sinner for wanting to masturbate. I tried to stop and I began to feel that god was not going to love me for being such a wicked person. I finally had to stop going to this church that I attended, because I realized how contradicting they were (long story, not pretty).
I'm sorry that you had such things happen in your life, but you wanting to masturbate and feel less lonely is not god punishing you. No one can explain why we have to go though the things we do, but that's life and we just need to try and learn to become stronger from them. I never masturbated before college and most of my family died... I blamed myself for not praying enough or for not being a good enough person at the time, but if you continue to think such thoughts you'll end up hurting yourself in the long run.
If you can’t use your hand to masturbate anymore I’d suggest either using your other hand, getting a toy, or trying to find a nice girl. Do what you feel is right for you personally (except mass murder, not encouraging that at all) and remember that god will love you no matter what you do.
Be strong japman-san and happy holidays

If god doesn't want you to masturbate, why did he give us a libido? This is one of the things that made me Atheist. God says we can't do certain things but he puts it in our presence as if we were set up for failure.

The libido exists to motivate the human race to perpetuate itself.

It doesn't matter what someone's belief system is. We're only human and in the bible it says that even if you look at a woman sexually, you have sinned. I feel that it's unhealthy to keep sexual urges, especially strong ones, pent up.
I'm gonna reiterate but "god" himself gave us these emotions, so why be upset about something he caused and if he's all-powerful can take away these emotions if he doesn't want us to do it?

That's pretty much it, actually. I always felt that God.. made us how we were meant to be. If something comes naturally.. I have no choice but to trust in God's handiwork.
It bothers me when certain types of Christians try to imply that natural responses are there to tempt and test humans. That's pretty messed up, in my opinion.
If God is infallible... then everything is as he intends it to be. Trying to walk circles around that only implies a lack of faith.

I'm unofficial roman catholic. wasn't baptised. don't go to church, swear, fap, and nothing bad has happened to me..
But that being said, officially, i'm agnostic (i think that's the word) i believe there may be something out there, but i require proof to believe that.
I believe in the morals of religion (eg 10 commandments) but i believe science and evolution is how we became and how we will progress.
Sorry to derail slightly... but long story short, i'm not a very religious person, believe in the morals, swear, fap and not many bad things have happened to me. I crashed my car, it was in such a way, that i was lucky to come out with a scratch on my side. 6 inches further forwards (the impact that is) and i'd be dead or severely injured.
My parents (being fairly religious) came to see me at the hospital (i called the ambo just to make sure) and they said 'somebody is looking out for you up there.'
And another thing, from a completely different religion all together, but makes all the sense if you are religious. Im shallah (excuse my horrible spelling) It's a malaysian saying which means 'in gods time' they ride motors bikes with 7 people, drive without seatbelts, do all this dangerous shit. And they do it, because if they die, they believe it was their time to die. if they live, they weren't meant to die yet.
and as said above, your actions only affect your after life. they don't affect your current life. Unless you believe in karma, but even then, fapping isn't a sin.
Long story short, Fapping isn't a sin, if people die, it was their time to die, it isn't your fault for fapping, it's purely coincidence.

"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:28
Now, if one man looking at a woman and "lusts" for her is bad, how do you pick out your spouse? Love at first sight? Just plain love? Love and Lust each share a hand (one hand not two), they are connected and therefore when one affects you for long enough, the other jumps in. Friends with benefits don't exist for long, and the same applies to platonic relationships.
The bible is old. It follows the logic that people will be together forever. As in like the 30 years people lived back before medical science. The bible doesn't say anything about divorces does it? Yet people fight over it like its an epidemic.
My Opinion: Not really offensive but still.....

Hey,man.
You're a human,so it isn't wrong when you have sexual desire.
Don't feel so guilty about that.

From an Atheist's point of view, your fapping and those bad things which have happened to you are just pure coincidences, and you're overthinking it far too much.
If you want to fap, just fap - no religion, big or small, has a right to tell you what you must or must not do when it comes to sex. You can't help when you have a sexual urge, it's your body and in your own time, so why do what they tell you to? And to be perfectly honest, who exactly are you trying to impress by not fapping? The church? Unless they have spy cameras in your room I don't think they'll know if you do.
It's been proven that it's healthy to fap. When you orgasm (also goes for excercising and laughing), it releases endorphines which actually can actually help boost your mood, so your "depression" could quite easily be lessened to an extent by fapping again.

Because on the off chance there really is a God, he's a dick. He drowned the world because it didn't listen to him exactly as he wanted (and that was written by the guy he let live, prejudiced opinion if you ask me), created war and misunderstanding because we tried to reach him(Tower of Babel), allows the creation of disease, allows persecution in "His name", killed a man 's family to prove the man was faithful (essentially to win a bet with the devil, and a laundry list of other horrible stuff. God has made it clear that he isn't your friend.

I was raised catholic (bleh) and totally get where you're coming from. Guilt is not something you just stop, you have to grow out of it, but only if that's what you want.
Doctrines change with society, so don't let fundamentalists bring you down, because they're the ones who'll get left behind eventually. Not you.
