Honest to god, i dont think other countries understand the desolation of Japan's condition.
No one realy cares, i dont think Japan is getting any faster help anytime soon.

yeah, I never hear anything abut it in the news anymore, in fact a few days ago I actually thought that the earthquake issue was over.
Its quite annoying watching the selfishness of some people who don't want to spare any more than a dollar.

every disaster lasts only as it sells in news... what about Haiti? or the floods in Pakistan, lots of crop were lost and they are far worse preparedthan Japan... anyway the best way to help is by the actual people already helping red cross and such, donate to them if you really wishto help, and convince your friends tohelp too.

Everyone is struggling globally these days but, and in fact, even while the US is, many people donated not just money but also food/clothing/toiletries back when the disaster was at its peak. Many well to do Japanese also have been doing so or continue to.
Because it's out of media focus now, fewer people give to disaster relief: out of sight, out of mind.
And on a sad note, we can't "do" much about not letting it happen again: Japan is on a huge fault line and is often subject to tough natural disasters. They can only continue to try and be more prepared each time one is expected.
