Environmentalists, doing what they do best...

...being retards.

Basically, environmentalist think fish are more important than humans. Pumps can't pump water to one of the richest valleys in America because it would endanger the minnows.
So 80,000 people are now jobless, food prices will go up because we have to import, and we don't know if they'll be safe... D:

Kind of ironic how environmentalists always find ways to endanger and/or harshen the lives of people.

I understand where they are coming from, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made, and we have to stick together and cooperate. I would sacrifice any animal for a human. -_-

So if you think that humans aren't parasites, then I guess environmentalists would look like retards.

Good point. Not everyone is so uh... cooperative. Heh.

Ha I think most things environmentalists do is more about harming humans, than saving the environment. This is stupid while sure the minnow population should be helped from total extinction (I’m sure they do something). To starve the water supplies of such a large number of people is mindboggling to me.
Oh and I think this will help him.

Oh, I don't know about that. I think many of them are pretty good off.
Like with the oil industry. They want to keep drilling by using more effecient techniques to use less individual stations, but produce more oil. Sounds so great on paper, and they keep throwing the ads all over t.v., but it is the dumbest idea yet this century. Its only delaying the problem. I hate the oil industry. Slowing and stopping our drilling of oil so we are forced to use alternative energy methods is what we need to do, not drill more, efficiently. Environmentalists seem to be one of the only groups who seem to understand that.

I think environmentalists are like PETA. Except not as obvious (like how PETA kills off 95% of the animals taken in). Sure they do some good things, like what you mentioned above, but then so does PETA... sometimes.

Yeah I'll agree with that. Haven't ran into as many negative connotations of environmentalists as I have PETA, but I know they exist. I'd like to cite it as them just being serious about what they want, but that just is bullshitting myself. XD

Yes, there are extreme enviormentalists, but there are every group has its extremists. I don't see how environmentalists are so much worse than other groups

In mine eyes, EPA = domestic terrorists
On a more serious note, environmentalism is great and all in moderation. I especially like it when it saves me money. But let's face it, we've fucked the world over. At this point, I don't see how anything we do is going to be able to stop the global ecosystem from becoming one big mass of Homo sapiens sapiens. By that time, I just hope we've developed the technology to produce our own atmosphere and oxygen as well as the ability to create food from any organic matter.

On the contrary. But looking at this event and a few others where they take things too far while disregarding human interests makes me believe they're too extreme.
