HD LCD TV

I am confused whether do I need to buy a good Full HD LCD TV to play my PS3 game. If I use a TV without any HD, my game graphic will be very bad and my gaming experience will be suck right? So I don't know which brand got the cheaper Full HD LCD TV and is more lasting.

The PS3 game console is SG$599 without any game, and the Full HD TV cost about SG$1400
if I add one game, my cost price will be $2000+ so expensive.

Should I just buy the PS3 console and play with normal TV without any HD, or should I buy the LCD TV first. By the way the year end sale is coming, or should I wait for the year end sale and buy the HD LCD TV?

You can still play on a regular TV, the PS3 even comes with component cables.


You could buy a HD compatible monitor(If you do make sure speakers are on the monitor for audio. Unless your TV is close enough, then you can just run th audio through that.) instead and hook the PS3 up to that. You'd just need to buy an HDMI cable.

Lol. I just bought the PS3 for $599 and I bought the game: Disgaea 3 and I find it tiring when playing it with normal TV. The color look too sharp for many eyes. Maybe I need to save eought money for the HD full LCD TV.

Does a full HD television set cost that much? I believe the price of a particular set depends on its brand and size (inches) too. Perhaps you could go for the less popular names, older models, or smaller screen size?
