sooo yeah, Navel is closing it's doors to all foreigners (yet they are releasing their Shuffle series to those same foreigners. (does that make any sense?)

opinion:..........................i really got nothing, i know it's just them trying to hide them from feminazis, but....it's just so fucking annoying.......it's like code geass all over again, except instead of Britannia, we got multiple feminists groups, and also.... we don't have any Zero, or the Black knights, or any resistance at all, not even from foreigners.

Yeah, I heard about this. Tangential, but had the same thing happen to me with one of the Chinese sites that host a lot of television shows. Thank god Todou still does even though it isn't legal for them to, even in China. <.<

I noticed this yesterday actually, I was at the site a week ago, and it worked fine, but suddenly when I happened to go to it yesterday, I got the error. I didn't know it was them blocking us off, though.. very strange.

It's certainly annoying that their site is off limits to non japanese just because of some stupid protests, and more annoying that they fell to the pressure of the protestors, they got no balls dammit. They're probably just taking precautions, but folding to pressure is how your doors close to everyone and you get taken out of business.

But as long as their products are good, they'll still be bought and people will still like the company. I'm filing this as a non issue in my book.

Navel's not the only one, many others did too as that article mentioned. Anyway, I don't really mind the blocking and all, since as we know it, we got proxy sites who easily outwit that and the fact that they still released their game in English wholly. It's just a precaution of theirs me think.

The 403 got removed again today. I could access it without proxy..

Still I don't quite understand why they put 403s on there sites when main source of complaints and such originates from Japanese organizations and such as Agnes Chan and her ilk.

If anything, they should put 403s to the japanese people and switch everything to english. That way they can uncensor them.

I think if you look beyond the obvious, these publishers were on our side all along. They put up a very weak defense system to keep foreigners out, just enough to satisfy the fem-nazis. They knew anybody that really wanted to get to their site would find one of the many holes in the filter ; I mean come on all it took was a proxy! And if really has been taken down, that means they decided to ignore the protesters and their worthless opinion.

Well I think they removed it already... I'm able to go in and out her in the Philippines without proxy... I'm guessing they just put it there to shut those feminist groups up and remove an suspicion on them...
