I always wondered, glancing upon this type of blogging community...
Mostly, these news agencies have correlated information, but...sometimes...mmm
In this era of global networking, where the price of information is rising higher than that of oil,
it seems - the question: on who to believe and to whom to disbelieve - has become
a very important to this society, and will continue to be so in the future.
Please forgive me, for my limited listing... all of them are from english speaking mediums.
My view therefore is limited.

This is off topic so it doesn't need my contribution but I don't care: I rarely watch the news because I'm not one to get hyped up over deaths and rapes resulting in living in fear to then consume things I don't need, but am told about wherever I go and look and that I need those things via mass advertisement, to make me feel better, meaning a more efficient economy.

Seriously android? Fox News is NOT unbiased, it's as right wing as it gets. NBC is the opposite, either way the most unbiased news comes from local newscasters who have a split demographic and need to appeal to both sides.

Is there such a thing as an 'unbiased news'?Second this.
I have a question though.
News are modified to catch people's attention.
Without modification, it will be boring as fuck.
You think a modified news is called a "bias news" ?

Bias means the news is modified so that it would benefit a certain group or individual.
The only unbiased news is just the announcement of disaster strike (ex. when tsunami hits japan).

Probably not. There's quite a stretch from a catchy title to blatant yellow journalism.

I always thought CNN did a good job of trying to stay balanced. They may lean left sometimes, but they'll just as often lean right. Mostly though, I think they stay centered.

I've recently checked Aljazeera couple of times, seems decentish, but that's not enough to establish a solid opinion.
So I'm gonna go with CNN, it's "unique" in more than one way, but I guess my closest one to being unbiased.
Lol at Fox news being even listed, that news station is for all sense and purposes a propaganda center.

I stopped watching the news, it was mostly stuff I did not care about or was depressing and I could do little about.
I get my information from various other systems now.
But the news station I still listen to from time to time is NPR who, if nothing else, are dedicated to doing a good job as journalists with integrity rather than something else.
The last news station I watched with any lack of feeling smothered by slime was the BBC. The BBC being, as a comedian pointed out, "The only news station able to make any horrible event sound... ok."
"Satan has returned to earth and is eating babies as we speak. The apocalypse is nigh. We are all in for a six thousand years of hell on earth and everyone is dooooooooomed. Coming up, the world cup update."
As a note, a lot of the bias can come less from the commentary and more from what they refuse to comment about as opposed to other things. Hence I do not think CNN to be very unbiased.
Another note, I very much enjoy independant documentary makes. and Current plays alot of that.

I voted "other"
NPR and HLN (CNN's sister network) are probably the most unbias but, I've caught both of them red handed a couple of times in their reporting. NPR is mostly guilty of misconstruing or even mocking conservatives. I can't care about your opinion of conservatives but, I believe we can all agree that as a news organization they have a responsibility to be factual.
HLN is slightly bias to the left but, that really comes down to wording used by the personality on screen. Overall they seem good. The worst sin this station is guilty of is having too many Greta Van Sustern clones like Jane Velez Mitchel, Nancy Grace and Mike Galanos (Former host of "Prime News" on HLN).

Fox News is definitely off the list based on the crap that they spout.

Chris Titus said that I think.
