This question is attributed to my friend who died because of a nade in the conflict in mindanao of the philippines. i altered it a bit... note that what i underlined has been changed from his original letter to me:
You are standing in front of a great door of a large castle-like library/archive. then a man, probably the librarian comes to you and says, "this is the library and archives of lust. all works containing sexual nature are here from various artists who drew them. you will be given access here for THREE DAYS by after then you will be escorted out and your memory of this location will be erased but your experience here will be embedded in your mind for as long as you live. now then, as the great doors open, it will be your choice to indulge, or leave." now as the doors open, you see countless shelves filled with juicy materials from porn to hentai genres stacked within these shelves, and everything is ALWAYS UPDATED. as you walk inside the halls, you notice a computer that will help you in your search as well as several pockets of resting areas that litter inside this archive castle. now after seeing everything, you walk towards the big lobby where the doors gape open for you to exit, and the wide stairs seemingly invite you. you make your choice.....
Stay here for THREE days and experience it all, or escape, knowing that you have seen it, acknowledged it but decided to leave it be?

Visual stimulation can never amount up to physical. You have a apple. You see how red it is, the size...but you can never eat and enjoy it. What is the point of having the apple when you can never consume it nor feel it nor see the relation it has with other fruits and vegetables?

that's three days of all my desires coming true. Even if they remove the location I still got to experience it and for me that's what matters. and whatever happens after that, I'll worry about when it's there

It's just porn for fucks sake. It's not that big of a dilemma. It would more epic if that library was filled with the "truth of the universe" (i.e. existence of aliens, how big the universe is, whether there is such a thing as an alternate dimension, the truth behind all conspiracies, etc.)
In both of these cases, I would definitely stay there and indulge in my curiosity. If I said no, I would have a nice story to tell, but then what? I leave with pretty much nothing, and I'll always be left to wonder (which I think is an even worse fate than having my memory of what I've seen erased). If I say yes, I would have at least seen something I would have never seen otherwise. In the end, both decisions lead to nothing in the end, and as I mentioned before, I'd be better off having no memory of it in the first place.

I'd stay, make the best of it and then have it erased from my memory. At least I had a "good time" while I was there.
