Disgaea 4: Return

Nippon Ichi announced a Vita port of Disgaea 4 during their Makai Wars Live event in Japan. I'm assuming this will be an updated version of Disgaea 4 with DLC and other bonuses included. No Western release has been confirmed yet but one will likely be made eventually. I'd be incredibly surprised if NISA didn't bring this over. source

Damn it. If I knew this was coming out I shouldn't have brought Disgaea 4 on PS3 a couple months ago.

I'm still playing Disgaea one and two, but this is just another reason to get a vita.

Cool news, I honestly think disgaea games should be played on a handheld console. Considering the grinding and such.

(Bought Disgaea 4 for ps3 1 month ago...)

Fuck it NIS! You know what, I'll wait a year or 2 after each of your console releases for your portable ports... 2nd time I got burned with the porting (from NIS)... (Bought psp version shortly before the release of the DS version of 1 was announced, skipped it, I would've owned 3 copies of Disgaea 1 like I own 3 copies of Persona 3... (May have to buy a 4th...)). Not a 3rd time...

Obviously not a surprise or anything. I love how NISA has to add a subtitle to every Disgaea game for no apparent reason. I don't understand why they can't just leave it as "Return".

I dunno, why couldn't they leave Makai Kingdom as Phantom Kingdom? No one ever understands. If we try to understand the logic behind every localization team we would have an aneurysm.

I wholeheartedly agree.At this point,I'm wondering why anyone bothers buying the console version,considering there is sure to be an updated re-release on a handheld system.
