Disgaea afternoon of darkness(PSP, PS2)

Anyone try this game.The character in this game is very cute.



I have some problem in this game. When I first play the game the character voice would come out but later as I continue on stage3 when the character is talking no voice come out. Is it my game file corrupt.

I got this series for PS2 pretty fun. Gonna download it for my PSP when I get the chance.

Dont worry your game is not corrupt, they even make fun of how the game is 'almost completely voiced' in the Disgaea2 manga by Hekaton.

Apparently 'company circumstances' meant that some scenes were not voiced, go figure.

Nice to see more people getting into Disgaea. It's a cryin' shame that the original was discontinued, hopefully more people will discover how awesome it is with a PSP port.

The part where flonne acting like assinasin is very cute.

Where character do you like best in this game.

Somehow I like mid-boss, because he is very cool and funny. I don't like captain gordon and the stupid robot, they are annoying.

Etna is my fav character in Disgaea, so cute and evil at the same time.

I just complete the storyline and I can fight all the optional boss, but all the optional boss level is feaking high.The last optional boss level is about 6000, and the lower is about 1500. Do you guy fight the optional boss or just complete the storyline?

Maybe I am too crazy I went and train my laharl to level 1400+ in a few day. I think I am going to defeat the final optional boss baal then I quit the game.

This game is great! Beat Uber Prinny Baal yesterday and tie up loose ends. Anyone has any suggestions what other games to play? Just a reminder, don't play this game on the night where you have exams the next morning ><

Btw, anyone knows if Etna mode have multiple endings?

Bought it on PS2 but never got around to really playing much of it so I downloaded the PSP version and will have to play it sometime. These days I'm more likely to play the PSP version of something than anything else. >.<

I bought Disgaea: Hour of Darkness soon after it came out on the PS2, dood. From, there, I bought pretty much any Nippon Ichi game. (Thank you NIS America for bringing over games made by Gust as well!) I have yet to completely beat any of them, except La Pucelle. I still have to take down Baal and Uber Prinny Baal to beat Disgaea. I am sad that I'll never play the Etna story in Afternoon of Darkness (I don't want to spend another 100+ hours on a game that is mostly the same as the original), but at least the games are worth buying if you consider how many hours you wind up playing them. And I'm glad that Afternoon of Darkness lets more people enjoy such a niche type of game.

I also enjoy Takehito Harada's (also called Haradaya) artwork.
