Dungeon Keeper (PC)

I'd like everyone to check out an old game that I used to play 24/7 before all these games like World of Warcraft and Halo that force you to sit and play more. I can't stress how awesome this game was! For a 1997 game, the graphics were awesome and the game was so kick-butt! The main reason I'm posting this is to ask if anyone has heard of this game or its sequel. And, if anyone thinks that the 3rd games should have been made. Plus, any comments on the game would be cool too.

Man i loved this game when it came out.
It just had a real neat atmosphere to it, and invading an enemy dungeon keeper or the lord of the land's tunnel network was always a blast.
Orc was my favourite troop, they looked bad-fuckin-ass.
Those fat-ass'es with morningstars on their horns were awesome too.
Actually there was a third game in the making, but then EA bought Bullfrog and cancelled the game, stupid fucking asshole's, no wonder everyone thinks their shit.

To tell you the truth, I really didn't like the sequel compared to the 1st. I think its just because the 1st was such a masterpiece! I did get to see the video for the 3rd game off the second one. It looked like it was going to be awesome. I loved the demon spawn myself, mainly because they could later turn into dragons. I think EA stopped because they claimed they needed the time and money for Harry Potter and Sports games. >>___<<

Dungeon Keeper was awesome.
I also agree that the second part wasn't as good, it had some really nice aspects but somehow it felt like it was trying too hard sometimes.

I don't really remember if it was DK 2 or 1 I played, though I think it was DK1. DK2 was released in the 21st centuaru, right? DK1 is from the 90's if I remember right, and if that's the case, then the one I played is definitely DK1

This was such an awesome game...I loved the guy on the menu screen, he was a class act and a half :D
Actually, I bought dungeon keeper gold (1+2) again about half a year ago for about $2?
That was nice to relive...
btw, did anyone know the Bullfrog game "magic carpet"?
That was one of the first games I played on PC, still have fond memories of it... :D

Well, you flew around on a magic carpet, collecting mana by destroying things, and finding spells about the place as well, the spells were quite varied, from fireball/lightning to creating a castle/volcano/earthquake...magic carpet
There's the wikipedia page for it, apparently it was great for its time, but required high specs, and was beaten by the lure of the lower specced Doom
