Recently bought this game.
Its my first time playing a tactical rpg like this so im finding the combat to be extremely slow paced. Then again im well aware that thats more or less the point of this genre of game. Its quite enjoyable so far and having control of each characters movement does add a new level of strategy to the game. (As an afternote i freaking hate judges and their stupid laws)
As for the story im not far enough in to comment but im kind of annoyed that games keep returning to the world of Ivalice (Since FFXII was terrible)

i played the psx version....and enjoyed it very much.
played it perfectly, all side quest completed.
the character customization is like.no.other.
i still remember the ninja i created....
teleport, can't be hit with physical, martial arts,999 damage per hit....
but still,tg cid rules.
a2 is a remake,so it must've been better than the psx ver.
good ol' days.

in my opinion, i don't think the remake compares to the original. the original was the best, gameplay and storywise.
no difference,gameplay-wise and story-wise between the two,actually.
but the a2 got new jobs, fmv,a bit of graphical tweaks and additional secret charas....
but nothing can beat the originality of psx ver.

I've played the PSX version. Gorgeous graphics, wonderful storyline but the control was a bit restricting, I felt. Played ffta. to be honest, liked the graphics a bit more but the storyline left me a bit to desire. Loved combos! XD

I recently just beat this. I had much fun with it. Though the plot was kinda..."plot? what plot? There was a plot here?"
