Got a doubt regarding Sunrider Academy

So I'm playing this dating sim called Sunrider Academy and i unlocked a route and I'm not sure if I want to go on. So can I keep playing and decide later,or should I take the route cause there might be alterations the further you delay it?

As far as I'm concerned as long as you have the right amount of affection points and that you didn't miss the point of no return (and must have triggered all the flag events for the heroines) then you won't miss a route. However, intentionally not triggering an route event usually may mean that you're abandoning that particular route, so beware what you wish for.
